According to application requirements, ALtop® heald frames can be equipped with a dampening system for the heald control. Vibrations that result in excessive wear of heald end loops and heald carrying rods are reduced to an absolute minimum.

An abrasion resistant dampening strip is inserted into the specially-designed light metal frame stave. The dampening strip can easily be exchanged if necessary.

The GROB system designed by delivers significant advantages in comparison to other alternatives on the market. During shed change, healds are moved by the heald carrying rods of the heald frames into respective upper and lower shed positions. The design facilitates "free play" of healds on heald carrying rods and efficiently avoids any binding or inclination of healds.
