With the ALbasic® heald frame, GROB has optimised technical and product cost parameters.  The heald frames utilize heald-carrying rods 16 x 2,1 mm for healds with J-shaped end loops and are applicable on rapier weaving machines with reed widths to 230 cm.

The frame staves of quality light metal have the standard dimension of 120/9 mm, providing for compatibility with most weaving machines. New is the glued fixation of the heald carrying rod to the frame stave and a corner connection design that absorbs the stress of the rotational moment of the frame stave and minimizes lateral support deformation during shed changes. 

Cost-effective ALbasic® heald frames utilize T-shaped lateral supports of steel with 7.8mm wide guiding surface.
